In 2012, I began an internship with the Gardiner Art Gallery at Oklahoma State University. During that time, I learned how to handle art and talk with curators, to lay out shows and to install them. The internship led to another internship with the OSU Museum of Art, which led to a Post-Baccalaureate temporary position where I currently work closely with the preparator and registrar. In my time working with the museum, I realize how crucial it is for each member of the staff to understand the other's process. Reaching across traditional departmental divisions allows each member to play a more supportive role in the team, resulting in a more successful exhibition.
